This is what Camdyn does everytime I open the dishwasher. I always tell her "no, no, no" but she thinks it is funny. Now when she sees the dishwasher she says " no, no, no"

Care To Join Me?

I have decided to go off all sweets for the month of February ! I feel like all I have done since Thanksgiving is eat. I am giving myself two cheater days, Valentines Day and Daniels birthday, but other than that I will cut out, candy, cake, cookies, ice cream, soda, etc. Wish me luck!

Lately Camdyn has really been trying to "help" me with watever I am doing. Today she wanted to help mop.

Trying to get a good picture of Camdyn is almost impossible. She really is a moving target. I wanted to get a picture in her dress so Daniel came to try to get her to hold still. But she just thought he came to play. So this is as good as it gets, none of them turned out right...oh well.

I love the way she is looking up at him with such a sweet smile.

Don't Flush!

While Daniel and I were cleaning the kitchen Camdyn was playing with her magnets on the fridge, or so we thought! She had dropped them into the toilet and was ready to flush when we came in.

Camdyn wouldn't take much of a nap today

so we went for a drive to Red Rock Canyon

hoping it would put her to sleep.

We passed a lot of signs for burro crossing,

I thought it was so funny, but apparently there is

a large wild burro population! I didn't get a picture

but they were so cute!

We had a slumber party with Kyron, Kason & Kenzi. They came to watch for the fox that has been finding its way into our backyard. Camdyn loved having them over, she tries to play like such a big girl when they are together. She even jumped right into the popcorn.

"all better"

random thoughts of the day:

I love being able to make everything "all better" for Camdyn, when she is sad. Just a quick squeeze and a kiss makes everything "all better" and she's on her way.

When I was little I would get in bed with my parents during the night if I was scared. My mom would put my freezing toes in between her legs to warm them up, then everything was "all better".

When my dad came home from work he was always happy to see us and just having him home at the end of the day made everything "all better".

Now I have Daniel that comes home at the end of the day and he always makes a crazy, poopy diaper, no nap day "all better".

I am thankful I have people that make everything "all better" for me and that I can now make everything "all better" for Camdyn.

We really are not very exciting but my mom always wants to see something new. I took this while she was eating breakfast, like I said, nothing exciting but you do get to see her dance a little.

She thinks it is so fun. What a workout for me.



Literally licking the bowl clean after we had celery and peanut butter.

I couldn't resist posting this picture, like father like daughter i guess. They both woke up with a massive case of "bead head". I took this while they were watching Saturday morning cartoons(mostly espn I think)

This is Camdyn getting her hair done.
Linde showed me how to get a ponytail
on top of her head and then put a little curl
in it. I put her in the sink and it keeps her
entertained long enough to get it done.

what's for dinner tonight...

I am always looking for something new and yummy to make for dinner so I thought I would share this recipe for anyone in the same boat as me. Amanda gave me this recipe and it is tasty and so easy to make.

Amanda's Yummy Pasta
1 pound chicken breast
1 can cream of chicken soup
1/4 cup of pesto sauce (I don't make it. I buy it pre-made)
1/2 cup milk
3 cups bow tie pasta
Parmesan cheese

cook chicken in pan lightly coated in oil.
add soup, pesto & milk to cooked chicken.
bring to boil and simmer for 5 min. add cooked pasta.
*I like to add Parmesan cheese over the top.*
*serve with rolls and green salad*

Some pictures of our busy day. We went to Mt. Charleston with Jacob Rogers and his girls to go sledding, we only lasted about 5 runs and then all the girls were freezing and ready to go. There was tons of snow and it was soooo cold, but it was so pretty up there.
The bottom picture is my new vinyl letters on my wall. Linde got it for me for Christmas and she came over today to help me hang it. I absolutely love it ! It looks so cute!

I'm getting him fixed!

I hope it's not too late to get Duke fixed! We had new neighbors move in with their female dog and it has put Duke in a tizzy. He jumps over the wall in our backyard to get to her! But the thing that made me so mad yesterday is that he is lifting his leg on EVERYTHING! I cleaned up 7 spots yesterday on my NEW carpet, running down my kitchen table leg you name it! It took me a couple hours to get the carpets shampooed and scrub my kitchen floor and when I was all done and everything was put back he did it again! I almost killed him...he hid under the bed for about an hour!

*9 Month Appointment

Camdyn had a Dr appt today, besides the runny nose and cough she checks out great. She is just a tiny little thing only 17 pounds (only about 1 lb gain since last visit). She got her toe poked to check for anemia. She screamed the entire drive home but is now sound asleep.



*El Pato
My mom and Dad gave us a huge case of El Pato for Christmas and I left it in Eagar. When I realized I was so sad but I found something that made me feel better.
