I can't believe she is already...
Yesterday was Camdyn's birthday. We had a fun day. We were not planning on being in Eagar for her birthday so we weren't very prepared. The only thing she wants is a suitcase. Not just any suitcase, a certain one from Target. (the closest one is 2 hours away). We told her she could have something else or wait until we get back home for her suitcase. She decided to wait.
Luckily Grandma had an entire bag of Dora the Explorer presents for her and Grammie threw her a party and got her(and Layne) adorable Easter dresses!

She was so excited and asked me all day if it was still her birthday!
Cute cupcakes from Grammie

Layne got in on the action too.
Her birthday is next friday, she was getting some good practice.
We will be having a joint birthday party for the two of them when we get back to Las Vegas!

Thanks to everyone that called or Skyped with Camo. She was the happiest little girl!

11 month update

I know I am behind again on Layne's monthly update but, better late then never. (I want to have it in my blog book.) She is getting big so fast it is hard to keep up with everything she is doing.
  • she loves to play peekaboo.
  • stand for a few second on her own (only if she doesn't know)
  • I just got her hair in pig tails and I am obsessed with them!
  • She is working on two more teeth...this will make 5
  • she likes to 'jam' (dance when she hears music)
  • still sleeping a solid 12 hours every night. I have to say that, because it is a blessing:)
  • she can now get off the couch or bed on her own.
  • she now backs down the stairs very carefully. Yippee! no more using the ottoman as a baby gate!
  • signs "more" and "milk"
  • she likes to play by herself
  • she likes to destroy anything Cam is working on
  • she likes to brush her teeth
  • she likes guss
  • she is a great snuggler
  • she gives kisses
  • she like to play outside, preferably in the dirt:)
I can't believe she is almost 1!

I have some random pictures that i never put on here. So here they are all at once.

Dan didn't work on Monday so he and Cam went on a 'date'. They packed some snacks and walked down to the common area in our community. Cam was thrilled!

Camdyn holding Amanda's little girl, Jordin. She is so cute, we love her!

Relaxing with Uncle Dan

This was Dan's birthday. Cam was so excited about the cake. She did the frosting and the sprinkles.

Layne and Peyton at the aquarium

Linde braiding Cam's hair. I really need to learn!

She was loving her braids.

Does anyone else think she looks a little like Kenzi in this picture?

St. George with the Hall's

We spent the weekend in St. George with Justin, Sherie & Koy. It was my first time at Zion National Park. I was amazed. It was absolutely gorgeous. We went on a hike, had a picnic, saw some church history sites and did some shopping. St. George Temple

Sorry! you get it twice
This kid sure does like his mom and dad. Me...not so much, maybe next time!
He did hold perfectly still so I could take his picture. Isn't he precious?

Relaxing at the temple.

I love this picture of Layne. She points at everything now.

not sure what cam is doing?

My girlies

A little update on the girls. They are both soooo busy. Layne is in the stage of making messes where ever she goes! Cam is starting to peek her head out of the terrible two's (I am sure I am speaking too soon and tomorrow I will put her up for auction.)
She is starting to be a big help to me and even has her own job chart that she does great with!

Layne in her front facing car seat.

She was exploding out of her other one! It wasn't really a big deal for her, she just takes everything in. I love seeing both little faces in my rear view mirror.

See what I mean...she has so much fun doing it, so I just let her.

She was UN-loading faster than I could load.

And now for our gymnast.
She won't ever win a gold metal, but she might make it in the record books for being the tallest gymnast ever! She is almost as tall as her teacher:)
Stretching

waiting her turn

On the trampoline.
She did a perfect dismount in front of her coach. The coach just about died!

doing kicks

Look a the concentration on her face. She loved it! Her coach moved that rolling thing and helped her do a flip on the high bar. She told Cam to "smell the bar" just to try to get Cam going in the right direction. Cam just did a full pull up, no problem. The coach was shocked at how strong she is!

Cam was pooped after the class. When we got home she slept for 3 hours!

Disneyland part III

So I finally am getting the rest of our pictures on here. They are so out of order it makes me crazy! But at least they are on here :)

This was as we were leaving the park. As soon as Camdyn new we were leaving she laid right down and went to sleep. I think she was a little relieved, she didn't ever nap because she was afraid she would miss something.

MK and Cam are the cutest little cousins. They posed every chance they could!

Dad was called up on to the stage to be a bear in the show we were watching...he made a great bear.
Cam said the best part of everything was eating lunches with the princesses. It really was neat because they are the REAL thing!

Layne and Davis where the best little babies there! Except when Layne threw up all over me on the Nemo ride!
She couldn't have picked a worse ride to do it on. We were shoved into a tiny submarine with tons strangers and very little air circulation and she lost it all over me! Poor baby didn't feel good and I had hauled her all over Disneyland that day. I guess I deserved it. I had to ride the bus home covered in vomit. Nice!

Cam with Grandma before the Nemo ride. Just a little excited!

another one of Cam's favorite was Mini's house. It was perfect for a little girl.

Layne and papa on the safari ride. This was definitely Layne's favorite thing we did.

Before we rode Pirates of the Caribbean. Cam was already scared.(do you see her nervously holding on to my hair?)
After that we decided the Haunted Mansion wasn't a good idea:)

At one point my dad said, "I have Grandma" and off they went. :)

Layne doing what she does best!

on the bus the first day...they were so excited! Cam said she was going to wet her pants out!
There you have it, perfectly backward in order. But i am too tired to fix it!
