Dress Up

My mom got Camdyn the cutest Cabbage Patch baby that she just loves! Her name is Urma, and Camdyn carries her every where and is always dressing her up and doing her hair. So we decided to dress Layne up in her Scottish outfit, kilt and all.

As you can tell the shirt was a little short but everything else fit her just fine.

" They may take our lives, but they will never take our freedom!"

We were laughing so hard that Layne starting smiling SO big!

What we've been up to

We have been having fun, fun, fun!

We spent the evening at the park

Blowing bubbles

Playing in the grass

and just hanging out

Daniel and Cam also had a "camp out" in the backyard.

They set up a tent and snuggled down for the night.

(Layne and I slept in the comfort of our own beds!)

Setting up the tent.

Dan and his girls

just thought I would share

This is how mine and Daniel's conversation just went:

Dan: "Chels, dude, we have got to buy a miniature cow."

Me: "a what? What would we do with a miniature cow?" " and did you just call me dude?"

Dan: " I don't know, eat it?"

What am I going to do with him? I hope my future does not include a miniature cow!

Layne's Blessing in Eagar

We drove to Eagar this weekend for Layne's blessing. It was so fun to do it there because we got to see a lot of family that we normally wouldn't. 4 of Layne's great-grandparents were there, I think that is pretty neat!

We had so much fun in Eagar, like always. I think we could have left Camdyn there. She had so much fun. It was nice to relax, spend time with our families and not be so stinking hot!!!!

Layne Davis Nicoll

Dan did such a good job blessing Layne. It was so sweet to watch him bless our little girl.

Kenzi and Kali playing at the luncheon

Kenzi and Cam are the best little friends. Kenzi takes such good care of Cam.

Cam drinking punch, she had a lot of it. We couldn't keep her away from it. She got it all over her clothes which led to this...

a red mustache, and this....

Feeding the Hamblin's turtle

Cam and Nash driving the beetle. Cam could push the pedal but had no idea how to steer, she was dangerous!

While we were there Cam found Aunt Markee's shoes, which she loved! I'm not sure why she is naked, but I'm not really surprised! :)

Layne snuggling Grandma for a nap

Layne is such a happy girl, she was showing off her smile!

Uncle Chantz picked these BEAUTIFUL flowers for cam.

Eating red vines and jamming out to Neil Diamond on the way home.

We had such a good time, thanks to everyone who came. We have a great family!

Firsts

Layne had her first bath in the tub. I have just been bathing her in the sink but she is getting too big for it. Cam thought it was the neatest thing to have her in the tub with her. She helped me wash her hair and she loved every minute of it. Layne LOVES the bath she totally relaxes and just hangs out.

Layne is trying to SmiLe! I caught her smiling at Aunt Manda tonight.

I love that face!

Happy Mother's Day!

Happy Mother's Day to all you mommies!

I have the best mom that always made sure we had FUN growing up. Unfortunately that means she took pictures of me having fun and she is not in any of the pictures. I have been searching for pictures of us together and I don't have very many, but I thought these ones where good. :) Don't kill me for the swimming suit shot!

Don't you love dad's matching tie!

Calling Uncle Chantz....

Chantz this post is just for you. I painted Cam's nails today and all she wanted was for Uncle Chantz to see them! So here they are bud. (I'm sure you are very excited!);)

As you can tell she is very proud of them.

And a cute picture just because.

One Month

Layne is one month old today.

She is so much fun to have in our home. She is very relaxed and calm( lets hope it stays that way). She is a lot bigger than Cam was at this age. She has really great chubby cheeks that I just love. She finally slept really good last night. Yay for me!
her first attempt at sitting up ;)
