I love when Daniel puts Camdyn to bed, because it always ends like this. Both of them snuggled up on the couch sound asleep.


I took this video on Saturday when Daniel was putting his grill together. I was doing things around the house and I kept finding Camdyn up on the chair. I kept wondering why Daniel would put her on the chair and leave her there by herself, then I realized she figured out how to climb up it herself! She's a persistent little thing.

Happy Birthday To Ya!

Today is Daniel's 27th birthday. We have had a fun and crazy day. It started out at Kason's basketball game, which was hilarious as always. Then off to get his present, a new BBQ grill that he came home and assembled immediately. And of course he wanted to use it, so we had the Woolf pack over and grilled hot dogs and hamburgers.

Daniel really is so easy to please, always happy and up for anything! I kind of like the kid ;)! Happy Birthday Dan! I LOVE you!

Springtime!

The past few days have been beautiful here. Camdyn loves to go outside and walk around and play with Duke. She likes to blow on the flowers (she thinks she is smelling them). Kevin and Amanda taught her to blow and now she blows on everything! She like to carry around the watering can and "help" me water the flowers. I love living in Vegas this time of year!

Breakthrough

We have had a few changes in our house the past couple of weeks. Camdyn's fist tooth broke through and with it came runny nose, a little fever, lots of tylenol and tons of crying. I also have cut her off completely from nursing (not that any of you care, but it is a bit of a milestone for us). I think she has cried for two days straight. Nap time and bed time are the worst. But this is where the breakthrough comes in, tonight she went to sleep with minimal tears and no nursing! YAY for me!

Another new thing, she suddenly wants a binki! what the...? I could never get her to take one when she was a little baby and now she likes, and it helps her fall asleep. So my question is for all of you experienced mothers who read this, should I put the kibosh on that too, because won't I just be going through this same thing in a few months trying to break her of that? Let me know what you think.

Lion Habitat

On saturday we went to the MGM hotel to look at the lions there. Amanda and Kyron came with us. While we were there we saw the trainers get in with the two younger lions. They played fetch with them and loved on them, it was so cute.

You can see in this picture just how close they get to them. This trainer let the lions lick him all over his face.

Camdyn was very interested with the lions, but she liked the trainer more, he kept waving at her and playing with her through the glass.

I am a little late with these but here are our pictures from Valentines Day. We left Camdyn with Aunt Amanda while Daniel and I went out. Amanda said she was pretty upset after we left and all she wanted was her car seat ( I'm sure she thought she could go home if she was in there).
Amanda also watched Ava that night so she had her hands full with those two. When we got there Amanda was covered in tears and snot from both girls. What a good babysitter. Thanks Aunt Manda

Tomorrow night we are going to the church for our wards "husband & wife date night". I need to bring a dessert, anyone have any good ideas? I need something that doesn't require a fork, and is yummy and festive for Valentine's Day. I was thinking mini cheese cake bites, does anyone have a good recipe?

Grandma did good

Camdyn has a growing attachment to this necklace that grandma sent. When she woke up this morning she saw it on the table and screamed until I put it on her, and she hasn't taken it off since.

Happy Valentine's Day

Camdyn broke into the Valentine's package that my mom sent to her. She has been wearing her heart necklace all night and she likes to carry her princess purse around with her.

She even fell asleep in it!

Fun Weekend

We had a fun weekend hanging out with Steve & Colleen. We went shopping, ate out, and just had fun. I must have been way too busy because I didn't even take one picture! Saturday night we went to Buffalo Wild Wings and had dinner. Amanda gave Camdyn a honey bbq wing and she loved it! I think Colleen got pictures of it, so check her blog for pictures of the weekend. We had so much fun. Thanks Grampa and Grammie!

I would like to say this is an everyday occurance, but everyone would know I was lying!

While I was making dinner I realized both of them were being way to quiet, so I went to see what they were up to and I found them like this! I think they had been standing there for a while. Even after I took the picture they stayed that way. They both spend a lot of time at this window just looking outside, but Camdyn always goes up there in the evening and waits for Daniel to come home. This might be my favorite picture ever!

Mommy Journal

I got this idea from a book I saw in Deseret Book. The idea is that you write all the little things from the day that you think you will remember, but probably won't. I decided to do this after Camdyn pooped in the tub yesterday, I want to remember all the funny things she does.

I bought this notebook at Wal-Mart for 92 cents (can't beat that). I brought it home and dolled up the front and now all I have to do is fill it up! I think this will be a good thing to be able to read and remember all the crazy things she does.

What She's Doing Now

I just realized I can't remember the last time I saw Camdyn crawl. She is completely done with that and is all over the place. I thought I would just give an update on everything she's been up to lately.

• just figured out she can walk in shoes
• clap
• dance (I think she learned it from Kooper)
• LOVES playing with Kooper
• loves Kenzi to haul her around
• cries everytime Daniel leaves the house
• waits at the window for Daniel to come home from work, usually pounding on the window saying "da da"
• pesters Duke all day long
• watching Signing Time, Sesame Street, JoJo's Circus & Barney
• plays peek-a-boo
• shows you where your eyes are
• blows on her food if she thinks it's too hot
• tries to carry things that are twice her size
• will only nap on the couch
• pulls everyting out of the cupboards
• Throws herself on the floor,crying, if I won't nurse her (I am trying and failing to ween her)
• Points and says "oooh" at everything
• eat an entire bowl of strawberry oatmeal and LOVES every bite
• and last but not least, she pooped in the tub this morning and thought it was helarious.

Honk if your Honky-Tonk

What a night! We had so much fun. We got to the concert just-in-time to see

Josh Turner. Suprisingly he totally made the concert for me. He is SO cute, I think I told Daniel that everytime he finished a song. He sounded great live. But it is definately George's show! He played song after song, he was on for 2 hours. Maybe more entertaining than him were the people in the crowd, put a few beers in redneck cowboys and you are in for a good night! It was so much fun, I even managed to come home with my underware on! :)

I took this as we were driving in. It is the damage from the fire at the Monte Carlo, you may have heard about it on the news.

George Strait Live in Las Vegas!

That's right, we'll be there! We are so excited. It is tomorrow night and we can't wait. Josh Turner is opening for him which makes me even happier! I will post pictures on Sunday!
