We have been crazy busy! But I have been taking pictures of all the craziness. (I just need to catch up on my blog).

Layne is changing so much. She is now such a busy little thing. She is walking a lot now but can still crawl super fast when she wants to get something.

She is THE best! I just love her!

These two little girls have two very different personalities.

I love to watch them interact, Cam the entertainer, and Layne as her audience.

Just a few things I love about these girls...

I love the way Cam talks to you with her finger in her nose(ok maybe not LOVE) but I like her 'take it or leave it' attitude. No apologies! She is who she is.

I love that Layne doesn't walk yet, she is still my baby. Cam walked away from me at 8 months:(

I love that Cam must be referred to as the princess she is dressed up as.

I love that Layne folds her arms for prayers.

I love that the two of them giggle in the backseat together.

I love that Layne tries to do whatever Cam is doing at the park. She would go down any slide if Cam did.

I love that Cam wants to be independent. She can buckle herself in her car seat now(it just take a while).

I love that when Layne wakes up she gives me a snuggle. She knows if she doesn't I will make her anyway;)

I love that Camdyn will be our human target. She runs across the backyard and we pelt her with water balloons.

I love that Layne will give me the biggest smile even when she is sucking her thumb.

I love that Cam wants toast & coco every morning.

I love that Layne basically becomes an Ostrich when the vacuum comes on. It scares her, so she buries her head in her blankie.

I love that Camdyn knows most of the songs on the radio(country). She loves Lady Antebellum, Taylor Swift, Reba, Alan Jackson.

I love that Camdyn wants 'Reba' hair in the morning. I just put a lot of hairspray in it and she is satisfied.

I saw the cutest thing out my kitchen window yesterday. Camdyn and Layne were in the backyard together and Guss (the dog) was bugging Layne. Just bumping in to her and putting his face right in hers. She started to cry and was looking around for me. When she didn't see me she went to Camdyn. Cam put her arms around her and tried to keep Guss away from her. They stayed like that for a while, hugging each other. Then Guss left and Cam said something that made Layne smile and then they went back to playing.

Cam really likes him, and his wife and daughter.

We talk to them over the wall in our backyards.

Today after church we heard Camdyn yelling,

"J-I-I-I-M!!!!"

after she screamed a few times, at the top of her lungs
we heard from over the fence,

"what! are you talking to me?"

*She just wanted to show him her Chipmunk.*

Wouldn't you love to be her neighbor?!

Craziness

Our life has been crazy!
With everything that has been going on we have still had time to...

1.) Go to Floyd Lamb State Park for some fun(and free) fair rides.

2.) play dress up as a princess and take care of all her babies!

3.) Learn to feed ourselves

4.) snuggle our blankies

5.) eat lunch together in the backyard.

Camdyn thought hunting for eggs was the best. We hid them for her 5 or 6 times!

This was the first year we have dyed eggs. Cam loved every second of it. Layne just sat there and sucked her thumb, maybe next year she will be just as excited.

Layne has been pretty miserable the last couple of days. Just running a fever. I am guessing it is her teeth. She doesn't want to be put down EVER!

but if I do put her down she likes to relax with Guss.

Layne's 1st Birthday

We have been busy. Birthday parties, Easter, Conference and throw jury duty in on top of all of that we can hardly keep up. I have tons of pictures from all of our craziness but lets start with this little muffin...

This year has had lots of changes, and still more to come. But it has been such a fun first year with Layne! She is so sweet and easy. I know I have said that a million times, but I am also Camdyn's mother...I know what I am talking about ;)
She really does bless our home with her calming spirit. Giving credit where credit is due that is all 'Davis'. Sorry Sherwood's and Nicoll's!

**Our birthday girls**

Ry and I brought the kids to the temple for a quick photo shoot of the kids in their Easter attire. It involved alot of 'look at the camera' and 'you can have an ice cream when we are done', but I think we got a few good ones. Check out Rylee's blog soon for her kiddos(I took over 200 pictures, so she gets to edit her own;))I know I am biased, my kids and nephew, but I think they are delightful!
