Happy Halloween!!!

We had a great and very busy Halloween. We went and got a load of wood in the morning. It was the girls' first time and they loved it.

Here are a ton of pictures of our busy fun day!

Camo getting her face painted

Kenzi and Kooper all dressed up and looking cute.

The girls and Great-Grandma Nicoll

Trick or Treating at Grammie's

Little miss Lady Bug, Rapunzel and Wendy

Katie's family was the cast from Peter Pan. I didn't get a picture of them all together, but it was pretty killer.

This is Chantz's costume(my idea)...he was a fat 'chance'

Katie even made a 'tower' for Rapunzel.

Nash was my very favorite. He was an airman. LOVED IT!

She did it....

She survived her first day in nursery!
She walked right in and when they said her name she turned around and walked right out!
I left immediately. I couldn't listen to her cry.
She was fine the next time I checked on her. No tears, just a little leery of everything.
When she came home she smelled like perfume...I think poor sister Peters had to hold her the whole time!

Why is it that only moms want to take family pictures?
The kids cry and whine and the dad's do this......

Ok. Maybe not everyone has to deal with this guy trying to make you laugh.

We got some really good pictures this time, thanks to Colleen and Linde!

Until I post the good ones, here are a few that won't make the christmas card

These ones kill me, watch Camo's facial expressions. Colleen was just snapping away and Cam was posing like crazy.

Summer Wrap Up

The weather is changing here, something I am excited about since Vegas is mostly just a really long and hot summer. I love the feeling in the air and everything we get to eat from my parents garden. This really is a great place to live!
But before we start carving our pumpkins and shoveling the snow I have to catch up on our summer.
Daniel built a fence for our backyard. Maybe I am just not used to the 'country life' but I was worried about my girls wandering endlessly. Dan also planted grass in the backyard. Don't we have a great view.

The creepy crawly creatures we find our endless! (not necessarily my favorite thing).

The girls love to help me make breakfast. They insist on it, which usually ends up in a big mess. But they love it...and so do I. They are good helpers!

LOVE this one.
How many peas do you think those hands have shelled in 90 years?

We went on a hike with Grammie.

Grandma took Cam to her first movie in a theater.
We watched Toy Story 3.
She loved it, but she did say it was a little scary ;)

She didn't weigh enough to hold her seat down, she just folded right up.

I think i am almost caught up with all our summer fun.

Rodeo & Hair Cuts

Daniel was in the Taylor Rodeo over the weekend. He and a few guys from work were in the wild cow chase. They had NO idea what they were doing so needless to say it was hilarious! Dan was a good sport and was the only one that even tried to catch the cow. 3 days later he is still hurting:)
Shaking hands with Cody Hancock after.

Trying and not succeeding to catch the cow.

While we waited I took pictures of the kiddos. Luke and Linde were so nice to come and watch. I love the picture of Cam and Koop, they are such good little friends.

*******************

A couple of days ago the girls got to get their hair cut "for reals" as Cam said. I took them to Kelli Brown and then I had to take pictures because she used to cut my hair when I was little.

Cam did so good. She was proud to be sitting in that chair.

This is Layne after.
My girls grow natural mullets. Kelli just trimmed her up and now she has a cute little bob.
