So I know I am not super mom or anything but yesterday I hit an all time low, some might even say I was in the category of Ms. Spears herself (but luckily I am not married to K-Fed). Yesterday I was cleaning up and decided I needed to clean off the back porch, Camdyn & Duke were sitting by the sliding glass door in our bedroom that leads to the back porch. I swept off the porch and then decided to spray it off with the hose, so of course I shut the door so I wouldn't get any water in the house. When I started to spray Duke went crazy and started jumping up and down against the glass and came down on the safety lock at the bottom of the door. I was LOCKED OUT! I instantly started to panic. I ran to every door but of course they were all locked. I started tearing off the window screens, but come on we live in Vegas our house is locked up tight! Finally after I realized I couldn't get in I ran to the neighbors and called Daniel, he left work immediately, but it still took an hour for him to get home!
At first Camdyn thought it was funny, I sang songs to her and played with her through the glass but that lasted only about 5-10 min! Then she completely lost it! She started screaming and hitting the glass trying to get me. She would just stand there her face pressed to the glass, tears coming down her face. Bawling. It was the most awful thing that has ever happened to me.
Luckily I could see her the whole time and knew she was ok, just really mad. It took Duke a minute but then he realized something was wrong. He started pacing around Camdyn. He never left her. When Daniel did get home Duke met him at the door then instantly ran to where Camdyn was.
It took her about 15 min to get calmed down once we got to her. Thankfully she was ok just really upset and so was I! When I told my mom about it she said "that's why we say our prayers" and it is true. There are so many things she could have gotten into or picked up off the floor. I don't even want to think about it. Hopefully these Spears moments are few and far between.

I would have freaked!! I'm so sorry!!! I would have broke the window!!!! At least she's alright! Poor little thing! But Duke rocks!
Chelsee, you are WAY cuter than Brittney Spears and just so you know, we are certain that Duke is no wonder dog!! How can he go wrong though when your Mom and I both pray for our grandkids and granddog every day!!
So scary, I'm so glad it all turned out ok!
this story is one you will always remember and laugh about. Just like when my mom and dad left me in a different state.
It could have been worse, just think of it that way. You are a great mom and someday this will be so funny!
