This is a post just for the sake of a post. Not because I have anything exciting to say, but because I hate when people don't update!
The big news at our house is that Camdyn got her "big girl" bed. She has been getting out of her crib for months so there was no real point to make her sleep in it any more. (I'm glad I have a baby on the way because it makes me sad to see it empty in the morning.)
Getting Camdyn to sleep in her bed by herself is pretty much a joke. One of us has to lay with her until she falls asleep. She usually makes it 3 or 4 hours and then she is in our room. We have been taking her back to her bed every time but then one of us usually falls asleep in there with her, and then what is the point to that?

Anyone have ideas on how to make her stay in there?

I'm not sure how I am going to break this to Cam. Duke ate Cinderella's head off while she is napping. This could be traumatic!

She looks miniature in that big bed! Now... on getting her to stay in bed... i say just take her back and don't lay with her. Just tuck her in and then go back to your bed. You may being doing this all night for a while but eventually I think she will get it. I hope! She has a mind of her own for sure so who knows.
Hey- I am finally getting caught up with all the blog posts I have missed since the babies arrived! Man, did I have a lot to catch up with! I love the new bed! I don't have any suggestions on keeping her in there becuase Wes still ends up with Addie in her bed at times!
As far as the names go, I thought I should weigh in! I have been trying to think of some good family names from our side. That would be the Ware side and Gramma Ware's name was Mabel(Mothers Always Bring Enough Love). Although I think Kerri has claimed that name if she ever has a girl!(-:
I am sure you will pick the perfect name for your new addition. We had the hardest time naming the twins, but when it all came together it was perfect! Just a little advice, don't ever promise Daniel that he can name a child whatever he wants, that is how we ended up with John Wayne.(-: I had promised Wes that if we ever had a third child he could name it whatever he wanted. If I only knew!! LOL

It's good she is in her big girl bed before the baby comes because they feel a little displaced anyway and giving her bed away can be hard. I would be really positive about her new bed. Maybe use reverse psychology and when she gets in your bed, both of you go and get in hers and when she comes back tell her that there is no room but that you love her bed. Then reward like crazy(hugs and kisses and praise) when she stays in it if even for a little while. Good luck, she is darling!
Love the bed and love the little girl in it! I know it's hard being up with her half the night but you'll blink your eyes and she'll be tucking her own little girl in and asking you for advice. I'll just come and sleep with her, that will solve the problem! She's adorable! As for Duke and Cinderellie, again, the joys of Duke! (Steve has some ideas for Duke but I can't post them!) :) can't wait to see you all! xo for Cam
She looks so adorable in her new big girl bed. I like Ellen's ideas. She will outgrow it. I always had a hard time turning away my kids from our bed, because I remember being afraid of the dark as a child. It was always so comforting to get into my mom and dad's bed.
Ok I don't know why but I can't stop laughing at the be-headed Cinderella!!! hahaha It looks hilarious! I love her big girl bed she looks tiny in it! I say just let her sleep with you til she moves out!!!!
oh ya and I forgot to tell you.... Please Please PLEASE do not name your baby Harper for heavens sake!! That is completely awful! I like all the other picks though especially Aftyn!!! Harper is just horrid come on now Chels!! :) love you!

Oh poor Cinderella! I remember when Duke at the arms and legs off the doll house dolls at your house when Cam when born. It freaked me and mom out. I love Cam's bed. It is darling. Just keep putting her back in there. She will eventually get it. It took MK forever too!
Good Question about how to get the little rug rats in their own beds. Sorry I cant help because I AM THE WORST at this! Cory has been in our bed since he was born and 2 years later he still is in my bed! I am buying him a bed in the next month and hopefully before this baby comes I can get him in his own bed haha I wont count on it! Good Luck!!
LOL sounds like we are all in the same boat! We all make the mistake of being softies and letting them sleep with us! With Ganon I watched a Dr. Phil and he said to sit by the bed and every night move a little further away until you are finally at the door. It sucks to sit there in the middle of the night when you are tired but it works.
That cute bed looks familiar. She looks so big. Good luck with keeping her in it. I am having the same issues with Kooper. Oh, the joys.
