"NO fail pie crust"

I strongly suggest they change the name!!
Yesterday I had some extra time. Layne was sleeping and Cam and I needed a little project. Why not make an apple pie for after dinner? I had bottled apples in the cupboard I have been wanting to use!
Make the dough, roll it out, dump in the apples and pop it in the oven. No more than 30 minuets start to finish. I have made pie before. We would have delicious pie for desert!
4 attempts and an hour and a half later, I was furious!
Cam even told me "it will be ok, don't cry."Doesn't that look like it would roll right out and make a delicious pastry? ha!

We ended up going to the store and buying pre-made crust!
Yes, I know. I can hear Aunt Tona nervously clearing her throat!

I think buying it is just easier too! I have done that many times. Pie crust is hard. They should change the name for sure.

The only reason I am clearing my throat is because I am extremely congested from laughing soooo hard!!! Funny stuff, Chelsee!!!

I say let Cam use it for play dough and buy a pre made one or use graham crackers, but a graham cracker crust would be gross for an apple pie.Home made takes forever and then its a miracle if it comes out right.Remember nobody knows its a pre made if you don't tell them.

I've never even tried pie crust but I guarantee that is better than mine would have turned out! Ask Rylee about the time I tried making homemade rolls when her and Reece came for dinner...She thought I made sugar cookies!!
