Do I cry or do I laugh?

Being a mom is, hands down the hardest/ most rewarding job ever.
Some times I feel like crying...but it is a lot easier to laugh!

Example #1.

Last week I was busy in the kitchen trying to get somethings done and I didn't have much time. The girls were playing and keeping themselves entertained. Perfect! Just what I needed!

Then I decided to check on them ...

Seriously I wanted to cry.
They had dumped out two garbage bags worth of packing peanuts!
Not an easy thing to clean from a laminate wood floor!

But do you see that face? That's when I decided to laugh.

Ex #2.
My Husband( I love him dearly) has a tendency to loose things. Really BIG things! Like mattresses out of the back of his truck(but that is a story for a different day).
THIS day it was our Christmas tree.
The girls and I waited at home anxiously for him to bring it home from storage. But when he got home...Oops, it was no where to be found!
We ended up picking it up in pieces off the highway!

At first I was mad, then I decided to take a picture just to document the murder of our Christmas tree.

this is the biggest piece we could find
Now that you see the picture do you understand? I might as well laugh...its pretty stinkin' funny!

I think it's probably a daily question at our house too. I usually try to laugh it off, somedays though a good cry is just what is needed. :) Love the new pictures and the new look of the blog! SO cute!

That is sad about your tree! Way to have a good attitude! And I can see how you laughed with little Layne's face smiling like that! What a cutie!

I just got around to reading this. I hope you got him a bunch of tie down straps for his birthday. Jim always says it will be ok, but I still make him tie down everything.
