Easter FHE

On monday we went to Grammy and Grandpa's for an Easter scavenger hunt and pinata! One of the clues was attached to Valentine, the mini horse, they had to chase her down to get it! I thought it was so cute and the girls had so much fun.

Kyron finally had to break it for everybody.

It's so much fun to live in Eagar and be close to family. My kids have so many people that love them!

Layne's 2nd Birthday

If you ask Layne how old she is she will say, "four". We tell her that she is two, but she thinks she is four:)

We had her party at the park and luckily the wind wasn't too bad and we all didn't blow away.

She was so excited all day and if anyone said anything about her birthday she just said, "cake". That's all she was after. On friday we went to pick out her cake. All she wanted was a Mini Mouse cake. Neither of the grocery stores made Mini cakes! She was so sad that she wasn't getting her Mini Mouse cake, but I showed her all the plates that had Mini Mouse on them and then she was fine.

Tasting the frosting before the party.

Opening Presents...she is the happiest little thing:)

She is two & terrible(but how can you not love that face?)

Katie brought one of her kids Mini Mouse toys and we put it on her cake and Layne was happy!

Love these two little faces!

Yes she is two and sucks her thumb, it still melts my heart...but maybe not by her next birthday!

Giving Kali a push start. She loves to give Cam pushes on her new bike.
At the party she kept running over and hugging Dan's leg, I thought it was cute!

Grandma and Layne. Layne LOVES to torture Grandma

She's two but she's our baby:)

From Layne's First Birthday to her Second she is a completely different little girl.
She can walk, talk, and throw fits.
She is a wild little thing...sometimes I wonder if we are going to get kicked out of church because of her!
She LOVES her "sissy" and never calls her Cam. Just Sissy.
She loves horses and any animal for that matter.
She loves to make us laugh. And she does everyday.
She can undress in 2 seconds and does about every chance she gets. The park, my moms, she even did it in ROSS the other day:)
She is the oldest in nursery and can now go with out crying.
She is completely potty trained.
She sleeps in her crib all night, even though she can climb out.
She can do everything by herSELF, or at least that's what she tells us!
She can get herself dressed better than Camo can.
She is can be very suborn if she sets her mind to something. She doesn't give up very easily.

WE LOVE HER!!!

favorite picture ever!!

I think this pictures is so sweet, of both of them:)

Sometimes Layne LOVES Grandpa...and sometimes she won't even look at him.
He now carries candy with him to church to bribe her!

At Camo's birthday party Layne was LOVING Grandpa.

***************************************************************************

p.s. Layne is now potty trained! It took 2 weeks and she doesn't even wear a diaper at night! She is such a big girl now, and I don't have to buy diapers anymore:)

Yesterday was a busy, fun day. It started early, because Camdyn was so excited to open presents!

She got a princess bike that she loves!
We took her to the park and it didn't take her long to get the hang of it. But sometimes she forgets to look where she is going...its a crack up.

Ultramarathon Man

I haven't blogged forever and I have a ton to catch up on but I am putting this on here for my sisters to see. This morning my mom and I drove outside of town to the New Mexico line to find Dean Karnazes. Don't know who he is? He is an Ultra-marathon runner who is running across the country. It is supposed to take him 74 days, he has been running for 2 weeks and ran through Springerville yesterday.

Rylee had us all read his first book ULTRAMARATHON MAN and he has a new book called RUN! He is really funny and has some pretty good stories from all the running he does.

So back to this morning...we found him running not to far past the state line. Me being the overly, outgoing person that I am :) I decided to drop my mom off and wait up ahead while my mom ran with him. (I also had the girls with me and couldn't leave them in the tuck on the side of the road while I ran a mile).

While I waited a guy from his team asked if I would take the picture while they were running so Dean wouldn't have to stop. He said we always try to maintain "forward motion" Totally understandable, He is trying to run across the counrty for goodness sake.

So I snapped a few pictures while they were running. My mom was a little bit behind him and he clapped his hands and yelled "come on mom!"

When they got to us he was so nice and asked if we wanted a picture together...then he was off.

I remember when Cam climbed out of her crib. I thought, "ok so now she will sleep in a real bed, no big deal." Almost a year later she could sleep in her bed...it was a very long year!

Yesterday I put Layne down for a nap (she is the best sleeper, just goes down without a peep). Cam and I got ready for a game of Candy Land. I looked over and there was Layne standing there. And boy was she proud of herself.
Since there is not another baby on the way, and because I don't want to go through a year like we did with Cam I am thinking Crib tent! For now she is the baby..even if she is almost 2. I am going to let her stay in that crib:)

She has skills...she can get out with out a sound!

This little girl is a...

Sunday was Camo's first day as a Sunbeam.
She was so excited to go and she even got to say the opening prayer in Primary. She has a big class, but they all did so good. It should be a fun year!
