We just got back from a quick weekend trip to the valley. We went to the zoo, played in the pool and hung out with Nate and Jen. It was soooo nice to get away and be together. Daniel has been working a ton of hours, so it was nice to get away!

Layne got sick during the night. I hate it when my kids are sick. She is feeling a little better this afternoon. When I got out of the shower I saw this and had to take pictures.
Today was Camdyn's Pre-school Graduation Party and we didn't get to go because Layne was sick. Cam was really sad! But she has been so worried about Layne. She told me that Layne looks even cuter when she's sick! I think that's so cute!

I love to look at craft & decorating blogs. And since I live in a really old house. I mean really old, My Aunt Tonna said she can remember coming out here when she was a little girl and there wasn't indoor plumbing! So what I am saying is this place is a make-over waiting to happen!
I am somewhat addicted to the blog Better After. I look at it everyday, but it took me almost a year to finally try something in my kitchen. I am sooooo glad I did! The only thing I did was paint, but it made such a difference!

The theme was pirates. Cam had just gone to a birthday party that was Pirate themed so she had a patch and some other stuff, so I wasn't going to do much more for a costume....but then I got a little carried away! She was so excited to go and I guess I got a little excited too:)

On monday we went to Grammy and Grandpa's for an Easter scavenger hunt and pinata! One of the clues was attached to Valentine, the mini horse, they had to chase her down to get it! I thought it was so cute and the girls had so much fun.

It's so much fun to live in Eagar and be close to family. My kids have so many people that love them!
If you ask Layne how old she is she will say, "four". We tell her that she is two, but she thinks she is four:)
We had her party at the park and luckily the wind wasn't too bad and we all didn't blow away.
She was so excited all day and if anyone said anything about her birthday she just said, "cake". That's all she was after. On friday we went to pick out her cake. All she wanted was a Mini Mouse cake. Neither of the grocery stores made Mini cakes! She was so sad that she wasn't getting her Mini Mouse cake, but I showed her all the plates that had Mini Mouse on them and then she was fine.

From Layne's First Birthday to her Second she is a completely different little girl. She can walk, talk, and throw fits. She is a wild little thing...sometimes I wonder if we are going to get kicked out of church because of her! She LOVES her "sissy" and never calls her Cam. Just Sissy. She loves horses and any animal for that matter. She loves to make us laugh. And she does everyday. She can undress in 2 seconds and does about every chance she gets. The park, my moms, she even did it in ROSS the other day:) She is the oldest in nursery and can now go with out crying. She is completely potty trained. She sleeps in her crib all night, even though she can climb out. She can do everything by herSELF, or at least that's what she tells us! She can get herself dressed better than Camo can. She is can be very suborn if she sets her mind to something. She doesn't give up very easily.
