The past few days I have not been feeling quite right. I climb the stairs in my house and by the time I get to the top I am winded. I have been having a rapid heart rate. Feeling dizzy all the time. It's mostly just kind of been a bother, not making me feel really bad. But I think I have diagnosed myself with anemia. Pretty common when your pregnant and not really a big deal I just need more iron. I'm not worried about it, I'm just not sure what to do.
Question:
Do I call my Dr and get an appointment?
My next appointment is Nov. 7 do I wait till then?
Do I go to Walgreen's and get and Iron supplement to take?

tell me what to do

I would say go to walgreens, get some and start taking it and tell your Dr. next appointment!

I had that while pregnant with MK. The Iron pills made me barf my guts up, so the doctor recommened a huge list of things to work into my diet that are iron rich. That still didn't help much. I finally took flinstone vitamins with extra iron and that did the trick. i would call the dr and make sure that is what is really going on.

Here's my opinion.(-: Call your doc, let them check you out, I would rather be safe than sorry. I tell you this from experince. I can totally relate to how you are feeling. If they put you on iron supplements get the kind called Slow Fe. My best friend who is a RN told me that is what they give their patients becuase it does not have some of the side effects as the others do. I take them, they are pricey but totally worth it. Take care of yourself girl!! One of my twins books told me to eat liver pattae(sp?) to get more iron. I think I would rather pass out!(-:

Take care and call the doc! That is why they get paid the big bucks!

Go to the Drs.and get a finger prick done. Its quick and painless.Wouldn't you rather know for sure whats wrong?I had to take extra iron with all four of mine. Its worth the trip just so you don't have to worry while you wait for your next appointment.

I had that all 5 times. It is just annoying! Take some iron pills along with your prenatal ones. Then tell your dr. next time. But if you don't see that it is helping then call. I don't really know...whatev!
